What has CFT done for you??
-CFT has given me the drive and invigoration that the normal gym doesn't offer. Starting with the body fat analysis and diet plan created by Devin, I have been able to transform areas of my body that I've always struggled with. Once I started seeing the changes and getting results, I actually look forward each day to going and doing the strength/workout. I can definitely say I've never felt that way about a gym. Ever.
Did you have any reservations about joining CFT at first?
-I have been a member at 3 other Crossfit gyms for short terms. The reason I never stayed is that I felt that the coaches didn't take their clientele into consideration. I would do a workout, then be practically on bed rest for the next few days because of how sore I was.
At CFT, Devin and the other coaches carefully plan the workouts to accommodate all skill/ability level. Before I started I thought CFT would be just like the others Crossfit gyms. I was wrong.
What results have you noticed since joining CFT?
-at age 37, I am doing things that I psychically never thought I'd be able to do. I've reached personal records for almost every muscle group, shoulder pressing, squatting, benching, etc., and even doing 10 strict pull ups unbroken. I've never been able to do that before...AND I was even able to do a muscle-up for the first time! I can honestly say I'm in the best shape I've been in over 15 years.
What is your favorite thing about CFT?
-My favorite thing about CFT is definitely the "family" feel it gives. Each class, no matter how many participants, gives a personal feel that is very encouraging. All the other participants and coaches know each other's names, give tremendous amounts of support and positive reinforcement. CFT makes me feel as if I'm on a team rather than in a competition, like I've felt in other Crossfit gyms.
What Has CFT Done for you?
CFT has taught me how to push my mind and body further than I could imagine. It has helped build confidence in myself, I feel stronger and have more energy throughout the day.
Did you have any reservations about joining CFT?
At first I was very hesitant to join cft. I knew CrossFit was a high intensity style of working out and I wasn't in good physical shape.
What results did you notice since starting CFT?
The results I have noticed are amazing. I have increased endurance and strength. My old clothes are in the trash since they are too big. Each week I notice myself being able to do more and more.
What Is your Favorite Part of being a member at CFT?
My favorite thing about cft is how accepting everyone is; it's like a second family!
